Anne-Sophie, relationship therapist
I trained and dedicated myself to counseling and psychotherapy while working as an HR Director for a large French company. Working in a complex managerial environment full of dilemmas and contradictions inspired me to transition to private practice.
I have always been very inspired by communication psychology, cybernetics and systemic therapy.
J’ai découvert d’autres mondes en lisant Edgar Morin, Paul Watzlawick, Grégory Bateson, François Roustang, Mony Elkaïm, Marshall B. Rosenberg, J.J. Wittezaele, Alfred Adler, G. Nardone et bien d’autres experts.
In 2008, I enrolled in a five-year accredited program in brief and systemic therapy at the Gregory Bateson Institute in Paris and Liège. My practice in coaching and psychotherapy began in Paris in 2012 and continued in Asia in 2014, serving French expatriates, dual nationals, and English-speaking residents.
In 2018, I enhanced my practice with training in Ericksonian hypnosis in Paris. Since then, I have been regularly pursuing online training with psychiatric and psychological professionals in areas such as hypnosis, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress, and couple and family therapy. I also engage in regular supervision.
Anne-Sophie, living abroad therapist
I spent 12 years of my life between Japan, China, and India. These years in Asia complemented my previous 25 years of professional experience in senior roles within the private and semi-public sectors.
I gradually developed an expatriate-focused practice that encompasses contexts such as:
- Living, loving, and working abroad,
- Uprooting,
- Distance and the shifting nature of relationships,
- The intercultural dimension,
- Life with a dual or triple cultural identity.
I returned to France in early 2024 and have been consulting from Paris. Starting in November, I will be welcoming you to my office at Lyon 6e.
